Dolphin Tale is a relaxing, clean 3 bedroom, 2 bath coastal home with a large fenced backyard located conveniently near the 9th St beach access. Enjoy the charming nature path boardwalk, walk-over to the beach. Easy walk or biking to Veterans Park on the Intracoastal Waterway for fishing and beautiful views. A kayak drop-in is available in walking distance on 9th street at the Davis Canal. This home offers WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen, stainless appliances, D/W, W/D, ceiling fans, Central H/A, 2 covered porches and multiple outdoor seating areas. Linens are not included. Please call or order linens online while booking your reservation. 3 night minimum stay rates available in all Seasons. No Pets. No Smoking, Check-In: 3-5PM, Check-Out: 10:00AM

“This house is perfect for families, with a very well stocked kitchen for cooking meals and toddler-friendly tableware. We even baked a cobbler on a rainy day. The house was spotless and well decorated. We loved the ample outdoor space: two covered decks and a backyard. There are many beaches to choose from on the island but the closest is a 10-minute walk through beautiful marshes with bridges where you can stop and watch birds. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but restaurants and groceries are just a few minutes away. Our family, which includes a 2 and 5 year old, had a great getaway. We explored the island, and when it rained stayed in and played games (there are many to choose from at the house). Some of our highlights include The Point (a kid-friendly beach with zero waves), the lighthouse, and kayaking the canal that runs through the middle of the island. “Our family just enjoyed this beautiful coastal home. It was one of the tidiest, cheerful, and welcoming homes we’ve visited in a long time. We were comfortable and found everything we needed with ease and had a great time gathering around the table and playing games in the living room. The walk across to the beach is lovely and scenic. We all enjoyed nearby Veterans Park immensely for the sunset and my son, whose an avid fisher, was able to enjoy the pier and the friendly locals while the rest of us sat and talked. The kitchen has most everything you need but I suggest bringing your favorite spices and cooking accoutrements. There is a great set of knives and a cutting board, coffee maker and filters. Plenty of glassware and mugs and a charcoal grill out back. It was great having access to a washer and dryer, a vacuum and broom for cleaning up sand. The back porch is adorable, with two chairs and lovely cushions to gather in the evening. Plenty of parking. This home is perfect, rain or shine. You can tell the owners have put a lot of consideration in creating a home that feels warm and inviting for everyone who is there." 7/2-7/9/22

Overall

We really enjoyed our stay here and our first visit to Oak Island! The house was very clean and great location close to the beach. Loved the way it was decorated and we had everything we needed. Very nice quiet neighborhood too. Looking forward to coming back someday!!!

Overall

Arrived with my son and family to such an a clean, cute home. It is conveniently located to the beach, stores and restaurants.House is fully equipped and is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We were all very happy spending a week there. The staff at Coastal Vacation Resorts are so friendly and pleasant to work with which helped in making it a delightful stay. Hope to return next summer to Dolphin Tale.

Overall

The house was spotless and in such a nice neighborhood that was close to everything but also remained quiet. We loved playing foosball and hanging out on the front and back porches with all of the lights. The owners have the house very well set up so you don't need to bring much to enjoy the accommodations. The beach is really close and easy to get to as well. We will definitely be back and glad we went through the amazing staff at Coastal Vacations!
