During the January 10, 2023 regular meeting, the Oak Island Town Council voted 4-1 to approve a Service Agreement with Otto Connect, Inc. for paid parking services, along with an approved fee structure and further direction on Town Resident Parking.
This marked a significant advancement in the development of a Paid Parking Program for Oak Island. To help clarify possible confusion of the future deployment of the program, answers to several Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) have been added to the Paid Parking Information page of the Town Website at www.OakIslandNC.gov/PaidParking.
